Hi, I’m Amanda Gold. I am a mom 2 incredible kids! When I am not teaching, I love to spend my time exploring, creating, and reading with them! I am passionate about education and it has been a joy to be part of the Jefferson community for six years! I’ve spent my time in fourth grade, but this year I embark on an exciting new journey as I step into the role of a fifth-grade teacher. I can’t wait to see what amazing things Jefferson Jets will accomplish next!
Welcome to Jefferson Elementary! My name is Robert Kaas. I have been serving Des Moines Public Schools for over 25 years. I received my Bachelors in Education from Iowa State University and my Masters in Education from Graceland College. Before I came to Jefferson, I taught both 4th and 5th grades at Park Avenue Elementary School. I enjoy watching sports, spending time around nature and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to a great year at Jefferson Elementary
